Rob Reed of BaseballGeeks.com, wondering where it all went wrong.
Week one featured some surprising routs.
Fantasy Baseball Generals beat Junkyard Jake 7-2-1. The all-reliever strategy worked perfectly in week one, as Jake’s offense rebounds from its inability to juice up during the offseason.
Fantasy Baseball Mafia ties Mock Draft Central 5-5. A day that will live in infamy, as Todd Farino was actually correct for once. Evan Dickens’ continues to regret not reading the Generals’ articles while watching Lyon blow saves as easily as Rob Reed knocks down whiskies (especially after this week).
RotoAuthority defeats Fantasy Fanatics 6-2-2 Powered by Trevor Hoffman, the Fanatics get trounced by the powerful, strapping young men from Roto Authority. Thankfully, their owner is not similarly strapping.
Stoney’s Lounge Routs Baseball Geeks 8-2. Stoney was so stoked by this upset and rout that he failed to call in to the True Gurus Show on Sunday. Rob is now trying to tweak Player Track, forgetting that this isn’t a Razzball or Hacking Mass League.
Fantasy Baseball Search edges Rotodoc 5-4-1. Fantasy Baseball Search overcomes management failures and issues to edge Rotodoc in a close game. Ironically, Ellsbury helps Fantasy Baseball Search by hitting .182 with no steals for Rotodoc.
Greco hammers Fantasy Baseball Geeks 8-1-1. A big upset as RC and Farino had Greco rated near the bottom of the pack. Greco’s Air Force training pulls his team up in week one, but he is too much of a pretty boy (check out his headshot) to keep it up. Look for a week two rebound.

This is exactly how I looked through most of the week against Stoney… and in my money league where Jose Reyes is leading my team in RBI and tied for last for SBs with a sweet number 0.
This has all the makings of a lonnnnnng season!
/Stoney’s Lounge still sucks
