Ivan Rodriguez helped the Tigers to another rare victory last night. The Tigers pulled together their first win at home last night with a 11-9 victory over the Twins, and aided by a three-RBI performance from Pudge Rodgriguez. He hit two-for-four with his first home run of the season, a solo shot in the seventh inning, and with a triple in the eighth that scored two more runs. The Tigers scored six runs in the eighth inning off Minnesota’s Matt Guerrier and Pat Neshek, two usually reliable set-up men for Joe Nathan who have had some trouble lately–Guerrier has a 9.53 ERA and a 2.46 WHIP; Neshek a 7.50 ERA and 1.17 WHIP.

Delmon Young was the top performer for the Twins; he hit three-for-five and scored three runs while batting in two and stealing a base.
