Some thanks to those who helped us out this first year. We are hoping to expand next year also, so read on.
We had a very surprising first year this year (at least in my mind), and thanks goes to all of our readers. We had over 15,000 visits, and even got linked in the Boston Globe online as well as lots of other baseball and sports related sites. I can honestly say that I never thought we would get this much exposure, so it is a good starting opportunity for anyone who wants to write about baseball.
As far as this last year goes, special thanks to my friends Rob Reed at BaseballGeeks.com and Todd Farino at fantasybaseballsearch.com for helping this blog get off the ground, and to the guys as FantasyDope.com. Additional props to Keith Law, Director of Scouting at ESPN. Also, were it not for Dave Studeman at The Hardball Times, this blog would be nowhere. He gave us our first real exposure and opportunity to expose our writing to a large audience, and for that we are all grateful.
Going into next year we are looking to expand the number of posts we will have each day. So, I am looking for people who are interested in writing about baseball or fantasy baseball next year. If you are interested feel free to email me, no guarantees of course!
We haven’t yet decided what we are going to do in the offseason yet. We won’t have daily posts and articles, but will have a post per week or so until the end of the year. Once spring training starts we will be back to our full capacity. We are even considering podcasts.
Thanks to all of our readers also, it is honestly a bit crazy to think that we had 15,000 people visit this blog since it started in the end of May. Credit goes to Matt and Jeremy for writing and I am glad that readers felt we were writing interesting articles, hopefully a majority were actually interesting at least!
We are all looking forward to next year, and hope our readers feel the same way.
