Some views from the Phils’ front on Tim Redding from our friends at Phillies Flow.

Those readers following Mike Podhorzer’s road to the Razzball championship know that he was stymied by Tim Redding, who pitched a fine game for Washington againt the vaunted Phillies lineup. In researching Redding, I came across the linked article above, from Phillies Flow. 

They do a very thorough job of analyzing in great detail each Phillies games, and the link above is no exception.  The interesting thing about the article is the apparent fact that after the game the Phillies fans were throwing stuff on the field! Boy, they don’t waste too much time getting down on their team as that game was on April 3.

One of my favorite baseball quotes was from Bob Uecker, who once said of Phillies’ fans “Phillies fans are so tough that on off days they go to the airport and boo bad landings.” Apparently this is true.  Well, at least they know they won’t get any crazy bullpen theatrics with Lidge and Gordon….
