Fantasy Baseball Warfare is a great matter to a nation; it is the ground of death and of life; it is the way of survival and of destruction, and must be examined.–Sun Tzu

Morning Roundup: Hunter’s Homer

Torii Hunter, who just about everyone has projected for some kind of regression from last year’s 94 R, 28 HR, 104 RBI, 18 SB season, hit his first home run of the season yesterday off of Twins reliever Brian Bass. It was only Hunter’s third hit in the first four games, giving him a fun-with-small-sample-sizes season average of .188.

Kevin Slowey, the starting pitcher for the Twins and something of a favorite around here, only made it to the fourth inning with two strikeouts and no walks before having to leave the game with a strained right biceps. First reports say the injury isn’t likely to be serious, but he is likely to miss his next scheduled start.
