C.J. Wilson earned two saves yesterday in Texas’ 5-4, 3-1 doubleheader sweep of Baltimore, bringing his season total to three, and continuing his one-hit, no-run season relief performance (his ERA is 0 and his WHIP 0.25). Josh Hamilton went a combined one-for-eight for the Rangers while managing to get a run and two RBI, and Ian Kinsler posted a combined two-for-seven with two runs and a stolen base.

Nick Markakis posted a combined two-for-four with four walks for the Orioles, and batted in a run in the first game. Despite the two losses, the Orioles still lead the AL East

So here’s a question. Before this season started two teams in my league tried to make the following trade:

    Polanco and C.J. Wilson for
    Brian Roberts

The commish vetoed it. Whadya think? Was that an unfair veto before the season?
