Zack Greinke, one of those players that fantasy owners just can’t quit, and a local longshot pick for the AL ERA title, made plenty of owners happy yesterday with his seven-inning, three strikeout, two walk win to help the Royals sweep the Tigers. Joakim Soria picked up the save for Kansas City, and Alex Gordon hit his second home run of the season.

The Tigers played without Miguel Cabrera, who is day-to-day with a quadriceps sprain (he’s already back in the DH spot for today’s game against the White Sox), and Gary Sheffield tore a tendon on his ring finger in the eighth inning (he says he’ll play through the pain while it heals–he didn’t start today).
