Putting myself on the line by keeping a list of all my official predictions in one place. Let’s hope I am more successful than Mike Podhorzer’s dating record.

So here is a list of my official predictions that I have made here and on the radio show. I am not counting any pure speculations. Feel free to add any others I might have missed. I am not including the Division Winners et al here since they are in a different post and I will check up on them after the season anyway:

-Jarrod Saltalamacchia, even if he comes up, will not hit.
-Brian Wilson and Brandon Lyon are out as closers by the end of May (looking good so far on that one!)
-Coco Crisp sticks around as they fail to deal him, and Ellsbury gets 300 ABs off the bench.
-Mark Buehrle has an ERA close to 5.00
-Sabathia and Carmona both wilt under tough 2007 workloads and the Tribe struggles. -Felix Hernandez finishes in the top three in Cy Young voting.
-Evan Longoria flops and Matt Garza wins 15 games.
-Ian Kinsler: 30 HR, 25 SB .290/.370/.530
-Dustin McGowan emerges as a close second to Halladay. 15-8 3.40.
-Geovany Soto will flop.
-Brad Lidge holds the job all year and pitches fairly well.
-Daric Barton will not hit enough and will lose the job.
-Rickie Weeks disappoints and hits under .260.
-Manny Parra is the best of the rookie pitchers and wins the ROY.
-Miguel Cabrera and David Wright are the most valuable fantasy players.
-Stephen Drew flops again and his career goes the Russ Adams route.
-Rafael Soriano becomes a top five closer.
-Ryan Theriot loses his job, yielding to Ronny Cedeno by the end of the year.
-Jeff Keppinger challenges for a batting title, a la Freddy Sanchez.
-Chris Iannetta rebounds and becomes a top 10-15 catcher.
-Jeremy Hermida makes the All-Star team.
-Michael Bourn steals 50-60 bases.
-Joe Torre buries Matt Kemp who gets 300 ABs (sadly this one looks to be on track so far)
-Corey Hart: 30-30-.300
-Paul Maholm emerges as their second best pitcher and an above average starter.
-Trevor Hoffman loses the closer job.
-Lastings Milledge emerges as a top ten OF.
-Miguel Tejada does not hit 25 HR.
-Billy Butler hits .320.
-Dontrelle Willis rebounds to be a league average pitcher.
-Jeff Francis posts an ERA under 4.00
-Grady Sizemore has a disappointing season.
-Joe Borowski has an ERA under 4.00 and holds the job all year.

some additions I forgot and was reminded of:
-Chris Young has an ERA over 4.00.
-Ryan J. Braun hits under .290 and fall to the third round next year.

Low blow Pat, low blow! Anyway, didn’t you have a prediction about Borowski? Not sure if you just said he’d be undervalued or he wouldn’t lose his job.

I thought I included it. I will amend.

I’d like to take this opportunity to say that I really enjoy your analysis, Patrick. I like how much of your work is based on Ron Shandler and Pecota. Shandler’s reliability scores, in particular, are something I hold near and dear to my heart. Although my opinion may not mean much, I’d say Derek Carty, Tim Dierkes, and you are the best fantasy baseball bloggers out there right now. Keep up the great work!
