    Very cool. I was actually kind of working on something similar that would normalize for BABIP, but this is obviously much better.

    So, what’s the formula anyway? Didn’t find it anywhere.

    Yeah, I had that question as well. Bradbury describes the statistic, but I haven’t actually been able to find the exact formula. I also haven’t been able to find any follow-up studies confirming whether the metric has any predictive value like claimed.
